About Cindy
Cindy Crace is a 500 E-RYT yoga instructor and has over 10,000 teaching hours experience. She received her Yoga Therapy certification from Inner Peace Yoga Therapy and was one of the first groups tested and accepted as a C-IAYT Certified International Yoga Therapist. As a yoga therapist, she has worked with clients with chronic pain, depression, anxiety, trauma, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, insomnia, scoliosis and injury recovery. She was the director of teacher training and a part of the SOS (self-care over self-soothing) program at William and Mary working with students to find different ways of self-care through yoga. She taught two academically credited courses for beginner yoga and for advanced yoga. SheI founded and was lead trainer for Shanti Garudasana Yoga School, which is a non-profit school providing scholarships for yoga teachers education to college students. Through this program, students could earn their 200 RYT credential without incurring further debt and provide the William & Mary Recreation Center with Yoga Alliance Registered teachers. She helped develop a yoga program for the Army Combat Training 10-week holistic fitness program and was part of the Flourishing Certificate for Veterans at William and Mary.
